Continue on VA-33 E for about 20 miles until you reach the intersection with VA-14 E. Turn left onto VA-14 E and follow it for approximately 15 miles. Look for signs leading to the New Point Comfort Lighthouse area. You will eventually reach a small boat ramp parking area where you can park your car. Note that the lighthouse is located on a small island, and you will need to take a boat or kayak to reach it from the parking area. Parking is free.

    Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, your options may be limited. You can take a Greyhound or Megabus service to nearby towns, such as Gloucester or Saluda. From there, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to get to Port Haywood.
