Car
If you are driving from the Middle Peninsula, take VA-33 W towards Richmond. Continue on VA-33 W for about 30 miles. Merge onto I-64 W toward Richmond. After approximately 15 miles, take exit 190 for Broad Street toward US-33 W/US-250 W. Continue on Broad Street for about 1.5 miles. Turn right onto 10th Street, and then turn left onto Bank Street. The Virginia State Capitol will be on your left at 1000 Bank St, Richmond, VA 23218. Note: Parking may require a fee, so be prepared to pay for parking in the area.
Public Transportation
To reach the Virginia State Capitol using public transportation, you can start by taking a Greyhound or Megabus from the Middle Peninsula to Richmond. Once in Richmond, you can use the GRTC bus service. Board the Pulse bus at the nearest stop to the bus station and take it to the Broad Street & 9th Street stop. From there, it's a short walk to the Capitol: head east on Broad Street, then turn left onto 10th Street, and finally turn left onto Bank Street. The Capitol will be on your left at 1000 Bank St, Richmond, VA 23218. Be sure to check the schedules for bus times and potential fares.
