To reach Stratford Hall Historic Preserve by car, start by navigating to 483 Great House Rd, Stratford, VA 22558. If you're coming from the north, take US-301 South toward Virginia. After crossing the Potomac River via the Harry W. Nice Memorial Bridge, continue on Route 3 East. From there, turn onto Route 202 South and then onto Route 214 South. Finally, turn left on Great House Rd, and you'll find Stratford Hall on your right. If you're coming from the south, take Route 3 West, then Route 202 South, followed by Route 214 South, and then turn left onto Great House Rd. There is free parking available on-site.

Public transportation options are limited in the Northern Neck area. However, you can take a Greyhound or Megabus to a nearby town such as Warsaw or Tappahannock. From there, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to Stratford Hall, as public transport does not directly service the historic preserve.
