If you're starting from downtown Petersburg, head west on E Washington St toward S Sycamore St. Continue straight for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with S Crater Rd. Turn left onto S Crater Rd and walk for approximately 0.5 miles. You will then need to cross the Appomattox River via the bridge. After crossing, continue straight until you see the signs for Floodwall Park on your right. It will be located at 23224 Richmond, VA.

From the Petersburg Transit System station at 100 E Washington St, take the bus Route 2 towards Southside Plaza. Get off at the stop near the intersection of S Crater Rd and the Appomattox River.
