To reach Maymont Farm from downtown Petersburg, take the Petersburg Area Transit (PAT) Bus Route 1 towards 'Fort Lee'. Board the bus at the nearest PAT stop. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Broad St & 9th St'. From there, transfer to Bus Route 78 towards 'West Broad St'. Ride for another 20-25 minutes until you get off at the stop near '1001 Spottswood Rd'. Walk approximately 5 minutes east on Spottswood Rd to arrive at Maymont Farm.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Petersburg. Head northwest on S Sycamore St towards E Washington St, then take a left onto E Washington St. Follow this road until it merges into US-301 N. Continue on US-301 N, then turn left onto Broad St. Continue straight for about 3 miles until you see signs for Maymont Farm on your right. It will be a short bike ride of approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.

Walking to Maymont Farm from central Petersburg is a bit of a trek, but it can be done. Head northwest on S Sycamore St, continue straight until you reach the intersection with E Washington St. Turn left and continue walking until you reach US-301 N. Cross over and continue on Broad St for approximately 3 miles. Keep an eye out for the entrance to Maymont Farm on your right. This walk will take around 1.5-2 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
