Walking
From downtown Petersburg, head north on Sycamore Street towards E Washington Street. Turn left onto E Washington Street and continue straight. After about 1 mile, you will reach the intersection with I-95. Cross the bridge over the river, and continue on Broad Street. After about 2 miles, you will enter Richmond. Keep walking straight for another 0.5 miles and you will see Riverside Park on your left.

Bus
From the Petersburg Transportation Center, take the GRTC Route 1 bus towards the Downtown Transfer Station. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at Broad Street and 3rd Street. Transfer to the GRTC Route 3 bus towards the East End Station. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop near Riverside Park. Walk a short distance to the park entrance.
