Walking
If you're in downtown Petersburg, start by heading east on E Wythe St toward S Sycamore St. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with S Crater Rd. Turn left onto S Crater Rd and walk for about 0.5 miles. When you reach the intersection with E Washington St, turn right. Continue walking for about 0.2 miles until you reach the nearest bus stop at the corner of E Washington St and S Crater Rd. From there, you will need to take a bus to Richmond.
Bus
At the bus stop at the corner of E Washington St and S Crater Rd, board the GRTC bus route 1 towards Broad Street. The bus ride will take approximately 35 minutes. Get off at the stop at Broad St & 17th St. From there, walk east on Broad St for about 0.3 miles, then turn left onto E Main St. Continue walking for another 0.2 miles until you reach Shockoe Bottom Clay at 1714 E Main St, Richmond, VA 23223.
Walking from Bus Stop
Once you arrive at the GRTC stop at Broad St & 17th St, exit the bus and head east on Broad St for about 0.3 miles. When you reach the intersection with E Main St, turn left. Walk about 0.2 miles, and you will see Shockoe Bottom Clay on your left side at 1714 E Main St.
