    Walking

    If you are in downtown Petersburg, start by heading south on Sycamore Street towards E Washington Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with S Crater Road. Turn left onto S Crater Road and walk for about 0.7 miles. You will cross over the Appomattox River on the bridge. After crossing, continue straight as S Crater Road becomes Manchester Road. The Southside Floodwall will be on your left at 98 Manchester Road, Richmond, VA 23224.

    Public Transit

    From downtown Petersburg, walk to the nearest bus stop on S Sycamore St at W Washington St. Take the GRTC bus route 79 towards Southside. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of Manchester Road and 9th Street. From there, walk north on 9th Street, then turn left onto Manchester Road. The Southside Floodwall will be located at 98 Manchester Road, Richmond, VA 23224.
