Getting There

Walking
Start at the Petersburg Visitor Center located at 100 N. Sycamore St. Walk north on Sycamore St. for two blocks until you reach the intersection with E. Washington St. Turn right onto E. Washington St. and continue walking for about half a mile. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the intersection with S. Crater Rd., turn left and walk until you reach the Petersburg Amtrak Station. From there, you can take a train to Richmond. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at the Richmond Main Street Station, exit the station and head to the nearby bus stop. Take the GRTC Bus #1 heading in the direction of the Fan District. Get off at the stop at Broad St. & N. Harrison St. From there, walk south on N. Harrison St. and turn left onto Floyd Ave. The University Student Commons will be on your right at 907 Floyd Ave.

Once you arrive at the Richmond Main Street Station, exit the station and head to the bus stop outside. Catch the GRTC Bus #1 that goes towards the Fan District. Ride the bus for several stops, disembarking at Broad St. & N. Harrison St. Walk south on N. Harrison St. and take a left onto Floyd Ave. The University Student Commons is located at 907 Floyd Ave, on your right side.
