From the Thornton Gap Entrance of Shenandoah National Park, take Skyline Drive south. Continue on Skyline Drive for approximately 10 miles until you reach the junction with Route 211. Turn right onto Route 211 and follow it for about 5 miles. Then, merge onto I-81 North via the ramp to Winchester. After about 12 miles, take exit 264 for US-211 E toward New Market. Follow US-211 E for approximately 2 miles until you reach the Virginia Museum of the Civil War, located at 8895 George Collins Pkwy, New Market, VA 22844. There is parking available on-site.
