Walking
If you are starting from downtown Harrisonburg, exit onto E Market St and head east. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with S Main St. Turn left onto S Main St and continue walking for approximately 0.3 miles. You will come to the intersection with Newtown Rd. Turn right onto Newtown Rd and follow it for about 0.4 miles. Newtown Cemetery will be on your left side, just past the intersection with E Washington St.
Public Transit
From the downtown Harrisonburg area, walk to the nearest bus stop on E Market St. Catch the 'Harrisonburg Public Transit' bus that heads towards the Valley Mall. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at Newtown Rd and E Washington St. From there, walk about 0.1 miles south on Newtown Rd, and you will find Newtown Cemetery on your left.
