If you are starting from the Staunton Visitor Center located at 35 S New St, walk south on New Street for about 5 minutes. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with S. Augusta St. Cross the intersection and keep walking for another 2 minutes. The Augusta County Historical Society will be on your left at 20 S New St.

From the Staunton Transit Center, take the bus route that heads towards downtown Staunton. Get off at the stop nearest to the intersection of New St and S. Augusta St. From there, walk south on New Street for about 2 minutes and you will find the Augusta County Historical Society at 20 S New St on your left.
