Getting There

• Bicycle

  If you are in downtown Suffolk, start at the Suffolk Visitor Center located at 524 N Main St. Head east on Main St, then turn left onto Washington St. Continue until you reach the intersection with Route 10. Turn right onto Route 10 and follow it until you reach Sleepy Hole Rd. Turn left onto Sleepy Hole Rd, and continue for approximately 1.5 miles. Sleepy Hole Park will be on your left at 4616 Sleepy Hole Rd.

• Walking

  From the Suffolk Visitor Center at 524 N Main St, walk east on Main St. Continue until you reach the intersection with Washington St. Turn left onto Washington St, and walk until you reach Route 10. At Route 10, you can either catch a local bus or continue walking. If walking, follow Route 10 until you reach the intersection with Sleepy Hole Rd. Turn left and walk for about 1.5 miles. Sleepy Hole Park will be on your left at 4616 Sleepy Hole Rd.

• Public Transit

  If you are in Suffolk and want to take public transit, start at the nearest bus stop. You can catch the Suffolk Transit Bus Route 1, which runs through the city. Take the bus towards Northgate, and transfer to Bus Route 3 at the Northgate stop. Route 3 will take you close to Sleepy Hole Park. Get off at the closest stop to Sleepy Hole Rd, and walk the remaining distance of about 0.5 miles to 4616 Sleepy Hole Rd.
