Bus
From downtown Suffolk, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) Bus Route 960 towards Newport News. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop near 524 J Clyde Morris Blvd. From the bus stop, walk south on J Clyde Morris Blvd for about 5 minutes until you reach the Virginia Living Museum on your right.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from downtown Suffolk to Newport News. Head west on East Washington Street, then turn left onto North Main Street. Continue until you reach the intersection with Route 460. Follow Route 460 west until you reach J Clyde Morris Blvd. Turn right and continue south for about 5 minutes until you arrive at the Virginia Living Museum.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start at the center of Suffolk and head west towards East Washington Street. Continue until you reach North Main Street and follow it to Route 460. While this is a longer route, it will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you reach J Clyde Morris Blvd, turn right and walk south for about 5 minutes to the Virginia Living Museum.
