Walking
If you are near the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, head towards 38th Street. Walk north along the boardwalk, enjoying the ocean view. Once you reach the intersection of 38th Street and the boardwalk, turn left onto 38th Street. Continue walking until you see the Navy SEAL Monument located on the Oceanfront Bike Path. The walk should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on your starting point.
Biking
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops along the boardwalk. Once you have a bike, ride north along the Oceanfront Bike Path. Keep going until you reach 38th Street. The monument will be on your right side as you approach the intersection with the bike path. This route is scenic and should take about 10 minutes.
Public Transportation
Alternatively, you can use the local public transportation system, HRT (Hampton Roads Transit). Take the bus route that services the Oceanfront area and get off at the stop nearest to 38th Street. From the bus stop, walk a short distance to the Oceanfront Bike Path, and you will find the Navy SEAL Monument just a short walk away. Check the HRT website for the latest bus schedules and fares, which typically range from $1.50 to $2.00 per ride.
