Walking
From the center of Williamsburg, head southeast on Duke of Gloucester Street toward Nassau Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 31 (York Street). Turn left onto Route 31 and continue for approximately 1.5 miles. You will see signs for Jamestown. Once you reach the intersection with Colonial National Historical Parkway, turn right. Historic Jamestowne will be on your left, at 1368 Colonial Nat'l Historical Pkwy.
Bicycle
Starting from the Williamsburg Visitor Center, head southeast through the Historic Area along the bike paths. Follow the trail that leads to the Virginia Capital Trail, which runs directly toward Jamestown. After about 2 miles, follow the signs to merge onto the Colonial National Historical Parkway. Continue for another mile until you reach Historic Jamestowne, located at 1368 Colonial Nat'l Historical Pkwy.
Public Transport
From the Williamsburg Transportation Center, take the James City County Transit bus (Route 1) toward Jamestown. The bus will travel along Route 31. Get off at the stop closest to the Colonial National Historical Parkway. From there, it is a short walk (about 10 minutes) to Historic Jamestowne, located at 1368 Colonial Nat'l Historical Pkwy.
