If you're driving, start from the intersection of US-60 and Colonial National Historical Parkway in Williamsburg. Head southwest on Colonial National Historical Parkway for about 15 miles. Continue straight until you reach the Archaearium Archaeology Museum at 1369 Colonial Nat'l Historical Pkwy, Jamestown, VA 23081. There is free parking available at the museum.
Public Transportation
For public transit, take the Williamsburg Area Transport (WAT) bus from downtown Williamsburg to the Jamestown Settlement. This bus typically runs every hour. Once you arrive at the Jamestown Settlement, you can either walk to the Archaearium Archaeology Museum, which is about a 15-minute walk (approximately 0.7 miles) along Colonial Parkway. Alternatively, taxi services are available from the bus stop to the museum for a small fee.
Walking from Jamestown Settlement
If you decide to walk from the Jamestown Settlement to the Archaearium, exit the settlement and head northeast on Colonial National Historical Parkway. Follow the pathway, enjoying the scenic views, until you reach the museum. It should take approximately 15 minutes to walk the 0.7 miles.
