Car
If you're driving from downtown Williamsburg, head south on Richmond Road (US-60) for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto the Colonial Parkway, and continue for approximately 5 miles. Take the exit for Jamestown, and the Jamestown Glasshouse will be on your left at 1348 Colonial National Historical Parkway. Be aware that parking is available on-site and is typically free.
Public Transportation
To reach the Jamestown Glasshouse by public transportation, start by taking the Williamsburg Area Transport (WAT) bus from downtown Williamsburg. You can catch the bus at any of the designated stops, such as the Visitor Center. Board the bus heading towards the Jamestown area. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes. As the bus approaches the Jamestown area, be sure to notify the driver that you want to get off at the Jamestown Glasshouse stop, which is located along Colonial National Historical Parkway. There is no direct fare to the glasshouse, but a one-way bus fare is usually around $1.00.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Williamsburg. From downtown, take the Capital Trail that connects to the Colonial Parkway. Follow the designated bike lanes toward Jamestown, which is about a 5.5-mile ride. The route is scenic, so take your time and enjoy the views. Once you arrive, there is bike parking available near the entrance of the Jamestown Glasshouse.
