Bus
From Williamsburg, head to the nearest bus stop located at the Visitor Center. Board the James City County Transit bus heading towards Yorktown. The bus will take you towards Route 199. Ensure to get off at the stop closest to Nelson Road. Once you disembark, walk south on Nelson Road for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at the Moore House located at 228 Nelson Rd, Yorktown, VA 23690.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Williamsburg. Head east on Route 60 (Richmond Road) and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 199. Turn left onto Route 199 and follow the bike lane. After about 3 miles, turn right onto Nelson Road. The Moore House will be on your left after a short ride down Nelson Road.
Walking
If you're already in downtown Williamsburg, walk towards the Colonial Parkway. Follow the path leading to the York River. Once you reach the parkway, head west for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Nelson Road. Turn left onto Nelson Road and continue for about a mile. The Moore House will be on your right at 228 Nelson Rd, Yorktown, VA 23690.
