From the center of Williamsburg, head to the nearest bus stop on Richmond Road. Take the James City County Transit bus number 5 towards Yorktown. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Yorktown' stop. From there, it is a short walk to the Yorktown Victory Monument at 803 Main St. Walk straight down Main St for about 0.5 miles, and you will see the monument on your left.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center. Head north on Richmond Road for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Route 199. Turn left onto Route 199 and continue for about 3 miles. Take the exit for Yorktown and follow the signs towards Main St. The Yorktown Victory Monument will be on your right after approximately 1 mile.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center. Head north along the Duke of Gloucester Street until you reach the intersection with Richmond Road. Turn left and walk along Richmond Road for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 199. Cross Richmond Road and continue walking straight onto Main St. The Yorktown Victory Monument will be approximately 2 miles down Main St on your left.
