    If you are driving from Williamsburg, take the Colonial Parkway (route 132) toward Yorktown. Continue on the Parkway for approximately 15 miles. As you approach Yorktown, take the exit toward Yorktown and merge onto Main Street. Follow Main Street until you reach the intersection with Ballard Street. Turn left onto Ballard Street, and the Yorktown French Memorial will be on your left. There is free parking available at the memorial site.

    Public Transportation

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take the Williamsburg Area Transport (WAT) bus service. Board the bus number 1 (as of the latest schedule) at the Williamsburg Transit Center heading toward Yorktown. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Yorktown stop near Main Street. From there, walk south on Main Street for about 0.5 miles, and then turn left onto Ballard Street. The Yorktown French Memorial will be on your left. Be sure to check the WAT schedule for the most current times and fares.

    Bicycling

    For those interested in biking, if you are starting from the Yorktown Battlefield, you can take the scenic route along the Colonial National Historical Park bike path. Head south on the bike path until you reach the intersection with Ballard Street, then turn left. The Yorktown French Memorial will be on your left. Note that you will need to bring your own bike, and there are no rental services available at the memorial.
