Bus
From Bellevue Downtown Park, walk to the Bellevue Transit Center (about a 10-minute walk). Once at the transit center, take the Sound Transit bus number 542 towards Seattle. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop at North 40th Street & Wallingford Avenue North. From the bus stop, it's a 15-minute walk to Gas Works Park. Head west on North 40th Street, then turn left onto Burke-Gilman Trail, which will lead you directly to the park.
Light Rail
From Bellevue, take the bus to the nearest light rail station, which is the University of Washington Station. Board the Link Light Rail towards Angle Lake. Get off at the University of Washington Station, then take bus number 44 towards Northgate. Get off at the North 40th Street & Wallingford Avenue North stop. Walk for about 15 minutes along North 40th Street and then turn left onto Burke-Gilman Trail, which will lead you directly to Gas Works Park.
Bicycle
If you enjoy cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services in Bellevue. Start by heading northwest towards the Lake Washington Loop Trail. Follow the trail north until you reach the Burke-Gilman Trail. Continue on the Burke-Gilman Trail until you reach Gas Works Park. This route will take approximately 45-60 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from Bellevue Downtown Park and head northwest towards the Lake Washington waterfront. Follow the waterfront north until you reach the Burke-Gilman Trail. Turn left onto the Burke-Gilman Trail and continue walking for about 2.5 miles until you reach Gas Works Park. This walk will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes, but it's a scenic route along the water.
