Walking
If you are in downtown Bremerton, start at the Bremerton Transportation Center. Head east on 4th Street toward Pacific Avenue. Turn left onto Pacific Avenue and walk north until you reach the Washington State Ferries terminal. Take the ferry to Seattle. Once you arrive at the Seattle waterfront, exit the terminal and head north on Alaskan Way towards Pike Place Market. Continue walking north on 1st Avenue, then turn right onto Cedar Street. Walk straight until you reach 6th Avenue. Turn left and walk until you reach the Westlake Center. From there, you can take the Link Light Rail towards Northgate. Disembark at the University of Washington station and transfer to Bus #30 or #31. Get off at the stop near the intersection of W Commodore Way and 30th Ave W. Walk west for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Ballard Locks Fish Ladder.

From downtown Bremerton, walk to the Bremerton Transportation Center and board the Kitsap Transit bus #1 towards Seattle. Stay on the bus until you get to the Seattle ferry terminal. After disembarking, walk to the Link Light Rail station at Westlake Center. Board the Link Light Rail towards Northgate and ride it until you reach the University of Washington station.
