  • Public Transit

    From Bremerton, head to the nearest bus stop. You can take the Kitsap Transit Route 2 bus towards Seattle. Get off at the Bremerton Ferry Terminal and take the Washington State Ferry to Seattle. Once in Seattle, transfer to the Sound Transit Link Light Rail towards Angle Lake. Get off at the University Street Station and transfer to Sound Transit Express Bus 556 towards North Bend. Get off at the North Bend Park & Ride. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to Rattlesnake Lake Recreation Area. Head east on SE 108th St, then turn left onto Cedar Falls Rd SE, following the road until you reach the park.

  • Bike Rental

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Bremerton. Head towards the Bremerton Ferry Terminal and take the ferry to Seattle. Once in Seattle, follow the bike paths to connect to I-90, which leads to North Bend. Upon arriving in North Bend, follow Cedar Falls Rd SE directly to the Rattlesnake Lake Recreation Area. The bike ride from North Bend is approximately 4 miles.

    If you are staying in Bremerton and want to explore the area on foot, walk to the Bremerton Ferry Terminal. Take the Washington State Ferry to Seattle, then walk to the Sound Transit Bus Station. Board the Sound Transit Express Bus 556 towards North Bend. After getting off at the North Bend Park & Ride, you can walk approximately 15 minutes to Rattlesnake Lake Recreation Area by heading east on SE 108th St and turning left onto Cedar Falls Rd SE.
