Getting There

  • Public Transit

    If you are starting from the Federal Way Transit Center, board the Sound Transit bus route 586 heading towards Issaquah. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Issaquah Park & Ride, get off the bus. From there, you will walk east along NE Park Drive until you reach the intersection with 1st Avenue NE. Turn left onto 1st Avenue NE and continue walking north for about 0.5 miles. Waqwaq Fountain is located in the nearby Issaquah Park, easily visible from the street.

    If you find yourself in downtown Federal Way, you can make your way to Waqwaq Fountain by walking. Head east on S 320th Street until you reach Pacific Highway E. Cross the highway and continue walking north on Pacific Highway E. After about a mile, turn left onto NE Park Drive and follow that road until you reach the Issaquah Park & Ride. From there, you can follow the same walking directions as in the public transit section, heading east on NE Park Drive and then left onto 1st Avenue NE.
