Car
If you are driving from Central Washington to the Space Needle in Seattle, you will primarily use Interstate 90 (I-90) westbound. Begin your journey by getting on I-90 W from your location. Stay on I-90 for approximately 140 miles. As you approach Seattle, take the exit for I-5 N toward Vancouver BC. Continue on I-5 N for about 3 miles and take exit 168A for Seneca St toward Seattle Center. Follow Seneca St, which becomes Broad St. The Space Needle will be on your left at 400 Broad St, Seattle, WA 98109. Parking is available nearby, but it may incur a fee, typically around $15-30 depending on the lot and duration of your stay.
Public Transportation - Bus
For public transportation, you can take a Greyhound or another intercity bus service from Central Washington to Seattle. Once you arrive in Seattle, you can take King County Metro buses. Check the schedules for bus routes that reach downtown Seattle. A commonly used route is Metro Bus 8, which can take you from the downtown area to the Seattle Center. The bus fare is approximately $2.75. After disembarking at the Seattle Center, the Space Needle is just a short walk away. Follow the signs leading to the Space Needle, which is located at 400 Broad St.
Public Transportation - Train
If you prefer traveling by train, take the Amtrak Cascades service from Central Washington to Seattle. The train station in Seattle is located at 300 S Royal Brougham Way. From the train station, you can take a short walk to the Pioneer Square light rail station. Board the Link Light Rail toward Northgate and get off at the University Street station. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the Space Needle. Alternatively, you can catch a bus or rideshare service from the station to the Seattle Center.
