From Central Washington, take I-90 W towards Seattle. Continue on I-90 W for approximately 130 miles. Merge onto I-5 N and drive for about 5 miles. Take exit 168A for Boylston Ave toward East Madison St. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for E Madison St, and merge onto E Madison St. Continue on E Madison St for about 1 mile, then turn left onto Arboretum Dr E. The Washington Park Arboretum will be on your right at 2300 Arboretum Dr E, Seattle, WA 98112. Be prepared for possible parking fees, which may vary.

From Central Washington, take a Greyhound or Amtrak bus to Seattle. Once you arrive in Seattle, you can take public transportation. Use the Link Light Rail from the University of Washington Station. Take the train towards Angle Lake and get off at the Capitol Hill Station. From there, transfer to Metro Bus #11 towards the University District. Get off at the stop at E Madison St & Arboretum Dr E. Walk east on Arboretum Dr E for about 5 minutes to reach the Washington Park Arboretum at 2300 Arboretum Dr E, Seattle, WA 98112. Keep in mind that public transportation fares will apply.
