Getting There

  • Car

    From Deception Pass State Park, get onto WA-20 E from the park entrance. Follow WA-20 E for about 12 miles until you reach I-5 S. Merge onto I-5 S and continue for approximately 16 miles. Take exit 199 for US-2 E towards Snohomish. Merge onto US-2 E and continue for about 30 miles. Take the exit toward Gold Bar/Wallace Falls State Park. Turn left onto WA-203 N, then take a right on Wallace Lake Road. Follow Wallace Lake Road for about 2 miles until you reach the entrance of Wallace Falls State Park located at 14503 Wallace Lake Road, Gold Bar, WA 98251. There is a parking fee of $10 per vehicle.

    From Deception Pass State Park, you will need to drive or arrange a ride to the nearest public transportation hub, such as the Mount Vernon Transit Center. From there, take a Skagit Transit bus (Route 70) to Everett Station. Once at Everett Station, transfer to a Greyhound or Amtrak service bound for Gold Bar.
