    From Deception Pass State Park, head south on State Route 20 (SR 20) towards Anacortes. After approximately 10 miles, take the exit onto SR 525 towards Clinton. Continue on SR 525 for about 8 miles until you reach the intersection with S Franklin Rd. Turn left onto S Franklin Rd and follow it for about 1 mile. Possession Point State Park will be on your right at 8343 S Franklin Rd, Clinton, WA 98236. There is no entrance fee for Possession Point State Park.

    From Deception Pass State Park, you can take a Skagit Transit bus to the Anacortes Transit Center. From there, transfer to Community Transit Route 415 towards Clinton. After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop nearest to S Franklin Rd. You will then need to walk approximately 0.5 miles south on S Franklin Rd to reach Possession Point State Park at 8343 S Franklin Rd, Clinton, WA 98236.
