If you are driving from Wenatchee, take US-2 E towards East Wenatchee. Merge onto US-97 N and continue for approximately 40 miles. Follow the signs to Brewster, WA. Once you reach Brewster, turn onto WA-173 W, which will lead you directly to the area near Fort Okanogan. The historical marker is located near the confluence of the Columbia and Okanogan Rivers, just off of WA-173.

Upon arrival in Brewster, you can walk or take a taxi to the historical marker location. The marker is located approximately 2 miles from the bus stop in Brewster, so plan for a short walk or a taxi ride if preferred.

For those who enjoy cycling, starting from Wenatchee, you can bike along the scenic route on US-97 N. The ride is approximately 40 miles and can take around 3-4 hours depending on your pace. Once you reach Brewster, follow WA-173 W to get to Fort Okanogan. Make sure to wear a helmet and have sufficient water and snacks for the journey.
