Public Bus
From Everett, head to the Everett Transit station located at 3201 Smith Ave. Take the Community Transit Route 1 bus toward Mountlake Terrace. After about 40 minutes, get off at the stop for the Mukilteo Ferry Terminal. Once you arrive, take the ferry to Whidbey Island. The ferry ride takes about 20 minutes. Upon arrival at Clinton, transfer to the Island Transit Route 1 bus heading towards Coupeville. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop for Hill Valley Dr. Walk approximately 10 minutes from the bus stop to Fort Ebey State Park Campground, which is located at 400 Hill Valley Dr.

From central Everett, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop. Start by heading south on Colby Ave, then take a left on 41st St. Continue to follow the bike lanes and signs toward Mukilteo. After reaching Mukilteo, follow the shoreline until you arrive at the Mukilteo Ferry Terminal. Take the ferry to Clinton on Whidbey Island, which takes about 20 minutes. Once you disembark, continue biking north on State Route 525 until you reach the intersection with Hill Valley Dr. Turn left and bike for about 5 minutes until you reach Fort Ebey State Park Campground at 400 Hill Valley Dr.

If you are near the waterfront in Everett, walk towards the Mukilteo Ferry Terminal located at 804 1st St. This is about a 1.5-mile walk. Once at the ferry terminal, take the ferry to Clinton on Whidbey Island. The ferry ride takes approximately 20 minutes. After arriving in Clinton, you will need to walk to the bus stop and take the Island Transit Route 1 bus heading to Coupeville. After about 30 minutes on the bus, get off at the Hill Valley Dr stop. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to Fort Ebey State Park Campground.
