Public Transit (Bus)
From downtown Federal Way, walk to the Federal Way Transit Center located at 21st Ave S & S 320th St. Take the Sound Transit bus route 586 heading towards Seattle. After approximately 30-40 minutes, get off at the 'Alki Point' stop. From there, walk west along Alki Ave SW for about 0.5 miles until you reach Alki Point Lighthouse at 3201 Alki Ave SW. The lighthouse will be on your right.

If you are staying in a nearby hotel, ask for directions to Alki Beach. Once at Alki Beach, head south along the waterfront path. Continue walking along the beach for about 1 mile until you reach the Alki Point Lighthouse at 3201 Alki Ave SW. It will be visible from the path.
Bike Rental
Rent a bike from a local rental shop in Federal Way. Cycle along the Interurban Trail, heading north towards Seattle. Follow the bike paths that lead you to Alki Beach. Once you reach Alki Beach, ride west along Alki Ave SW until you reach the Alki Point Lighthouse at 3201 Alki Ave SW. The ride should take approximately 1 hour depending on your pace.
