Walking
Start your journey from the Federal Way Transit Center located at 31620 Pete von Reichbauer Way S, Federal Way, WA 98003. From the transit center, head southeast on S 320th St toward Pacific Hwy E. Continue walking until you reach the bus stop at Pacific Hwy E and S 320th St. Here, take the Pierce Transit Route 186 bus towards Tacoma. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at 201 Tulalip St NE in Browns Point. After exiting the bus, walk east on Tulalip St NE for about 5 minutes to reach the entrance of Browns Point Lighthouse Park. Enjoy the scenic views and the historic lighthouse!
Biking
If you have access to a bike, begin at the Federal Way Transit Center. Head southeast on S 320th St, then turn left onto Pacific Hwy E. Follow Pacific Hwy E for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 21st Ave NE. Turn right onto 21st Ave NE, which will lead you directly into Browns Point. Continue straight on 21st Ave NE until you reach Tulalip St NE, then turn right. Follow Tulalip St NE for another half mile, and you'll find the entrance to Browns Point Lighthouse Park on your left. This route takes you through some lovely neighborhoods and provides great views of the surrounding area.
Public Transport
From your location in Federal Way, find the nearest bus stop and board a Pierce Transit bus that goes towards Tacoma. You will want to take Route 186, which is the most direct route to Browns Point. After about 20 minutes, get off at the stop located at 201 Tulalip St NE, Browns Point. From there, it’s just a short 5-minute walk east on Tulalip St NE to the entrance of Browns Point Lighthouse Park. Make sure to check the Pierce Transit schedule for the most current timings.
