    Start at the Federal Way Transit Center. Take the Sound Transit 586 bus towards the Kitsap Peninsula. You will travel for approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal. From the terminal, walk towards the ferry boarding area. Take the ferry to Bainbridge Island, which takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Bainbridge Island, exit the ferry and walk to the bus stop. Take the Kitsap Transit Route 90 bus towards Poulsbo. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop nearest to Fay Bainbridge Park, which is located at 15446 Sunrise Drive NE. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to the park entrance.

    From central Federal Way, head towards the waterfront by following the marked bike lanes to the Sound Transit 586 bus stop at the Federal Way Transit Center. Take the bus to the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal, and then board the ferry. Once on Bainbridge Island, you can rent a bicycle at a local shop near the ferry terminal. Ride along the scenic roads towards Fay Bainbridge Park, which is about a 6-mile ride. Follow signs for Sunset Drive NE and then turn onto Sunrise Drive NE to reach the park.
