    If you prefer to bike, start from the center of Federal Way and head towards Pacific Highway South (WA-99). Follow this road south until you reach the intersection with 5th Avenue South. Turn left onto 5th Avenue South and continue until you reach the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Once across the bridge, follow the signs to Point Defiance Park. The total distance is approximately 14 miles and will take about 1 hour, depending on your biking speed.

    Walking to Point Defiance Park from Federal Way is quite a trek, but if you're adventurous, begin at the Federal Way Transit Center. Head south on 23rd Avenue South, then take a right to follow S 348th Street. Continue straight for about 3 miles until you reach Pacific Highway South. Cross over to the sidewalk along the highway and continue south until you reach the Tacoma city limits. From there, follow the signs to Point Defiance Park. This route is approximately 7 miles and could take around 2.5 hours.
