Public Bus
From anywhere in Federal Way, locate the nearest bus stop for Sound Transit or Pierce Transit. Take the Sound Transit Route 586 or Pierce Transit Route 1 towards Seattle. Stay on the bus until you reach the Seattle Bus Terminal. Once there, transfer to the Link Light Rail and get off at the Westlake Station. From the Westlake Station, exit and walk northwest on Pine Street, then turn left onto 5th Avenue. Continue for about 0.4 miles until you reach Thomas Street, then turn right. The Seattle Monorail entrance will be on your left.
Light Rail
First, head to the nearest Link Light Rail station in Federal Way, which is the Federal Way Transit Center. Board the Link Light Rail towards Northgate. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Westlake Station. Once you exit the station, head northwest on Pine Street, and turn left onto 5th Avenue. Continue for about 0.4 miles until you reach Thomas Street, then turn right. The entrance to the Seattle Monorail will be on your left.
