Public Transit - Bus
To reach Seattle Waterfront from Federal Way, start by heading to the Federal Way Transit Center located at 31620 Pete von Reichbauer Way S. From the Transit Center, catch the Sound Transit Bus Route 586 towards Seattle. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Seattle bus terminal, exit the bus and walk towards 2nd Avenue. From there, head west towards the waterfront area, which is about a 10-minute walk.
Public Transit - Light Rail
Begin your journey at the Federal Way Transit Center. Board the Sound Transit Link Light Rail heading towards Seattle/Tukwila. Transfer at the Angle Lake Station to the Link Light Rail service heading towards Northgate. Alight at the Westlake Station. From Westlake, exit and walk two blocks west to 1st Avenue, then head south towards the waterfront. This walk will take about 10-15 minutes.

For a more convenient option, you can use a ride-sharing service such as Uber or Lyft. Simply request a ride from your current location in Federal Way and enter 'Seattle Waterfront' as your destination. The journey will take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
