Getting There

• Bus

  To reach Seattle Waterfront from Bellevue, head to the nearest bus stop that services Metro's Route 556 or 542. You can catch these buses from various locations in downtown Bellevue, such as at Bellevue Transit Center. Board the bus and make sure to get off at the 'Seattle Convention Center' stop in Seattle. From there, transfer to the Link Light Rail at the Convention Place Station. Take the light rail towards 'University of Washington' and get off at 'Pioneer Square' station. Once you exit, you can walk towards the waterfront by following the signs or asking locals for directions. The Seattle Waterfront is just a short stroll from there.

• Light Rail

  From Bellevue, make your way to the nearest light rail station, which is located at 'East Main Station' in Bellevue. Board the Link Light Rail heading towards 'Northgate'. Stay on the train until you reach 'Pioneer Square' station. Once you exit, follow signs directing you to the Seattle Waterfront, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the station. Enjoy the views as you walk towards the waterfront area.

• Train

  If you are near the Bellevue Transit Center, you can take the Sound Transit train service. Look for the Sounder train schedule and catch a train heading to Seattle. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Seattle's King Street Station, exit the station and walk towards the waterfront. It’s a straight path, and you should arrive at the Seattle Waterfront in about 15-20 minutes.

• Walking

  If you are already in downtown Bellevue, you can simply enjoy a nice walk to the Seattle Waterfront. Start from Bellevue Square and head west towards the Bellevue Downtown Park. Continue to follow the pedestrian-friendly streets towards Lake Washington Boulevard. From there, you can take a scenic route along the waterfront paths leading to the ferry terminal and eventually to Seattle Waterfront. This walk can take about 1.5 hours, so wear comfortable shoes!
