Once you get off the bus, walk east on SE 216th St for about 0.5 miles until you reach Cedar Falls Rd SE. Turn left onto Cedar Falls Rd SE and continue walking for approximately 1 mile until you arrive at Rattlesnake Lake Recreation Area.

  • Light Rail and Bus

    Start at Kent Station and board the Sound Transit Light Rail towards Seattle. Get off at the Rainier Beach Station. From there, transfer to King County Metro Bus Route 165 towards North Bend. Stay on the bus for about 50 minutes and get off at the 'Cedar Falls Rd & SE 216th St' stop. Walk east on SE 216th St for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto Cedar Falls Rd SE and walk for approximately 1 mile to Rattlesnake Lake Recreation Area.

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle at a local shop in Kent. Start by heading southeast on E Smith St towards SE 240th St. Turn right on SE 240th St and follow it until you reach the Green River Trail. Take the trail north, and then follow the signs towards Cedar Falls Rd SE. This route will take you through scenic areas and approximately 8 miles later, you will reach Rattlesnake Lake Recreation Area.
