Bus
From Kent, head to the Kent Station Bus Terminal. Take the Sound Transit Route 586 bus towards Tacoma Dome Station. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Tacoma Dome Station, transfer to the Pierce Transit Route 1 bus towards the Tacoma Mall. Get off at the stop at 17th Street and Pacific Avenue. From there, walk one block east on 17th Street until you reach Pacific Avenue, then turn left and walk north for about 2 blocks. The Tacoma Art Museum will be on your left at 1701 Pacific Ave.

Light Rail
Make your way to the Kent Sounder Station and board the Sounder train towards Seattle. Get off at the Tacoma Dome Station, which will take about 30 minutes. After arriving, follow the signs to the Link Light Rail. Board the Link Light Rail towards the University of Washington and get off at the Theatre District Station. From there, walk one block south to 17th Street, turn left, and head east for one block to Pacific Avenue. The Tacoma Art Museum will be on your left.
