    Getting There

    Walking

    If you're in downtown Kirkland, start by heading south on Central Way toward Lake Washington Blvd. Continue straight for about 0.6 miles until you reach the waterfront park, Marina Park. From there, take the pedestrian path along the lake, which will eventually lead you to the Kirkland Marina. Follow the shoreline path to the south, and you will come to the Juanita Bay Park. Continue along the water until you find the Kirkland waterfront trail leading to Seattle. Once you reach the ferry terminal, you can take a ferry to West Seattle, and from there, follow Alki Beach Trail.

    Public Transport (Bus)

    From downtown Kirkland, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 3rd St & Kirkland Ave. Board the King County Metro bus route 255 heading toward Seattle. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 'West Seattle Junction' stop. From there, transfer to bus route 50 towards Alki Beach. Ride for another 10 minutes until you reach the 'Alki Beach' stop. Finally, follow the signs to the Alki Trail, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
