Bus
From Kirkland, walk to the nearest bus stop for Metro Bus Route 238 or 542, depending on your location in Kirkland. If you are near the Kirkland Transit Center, take the 238 bus heading towards Bellevue. Disembark at the Bellevue Transit Center and transfer to Sound Transit Route 542 heading to Seattle. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at 5th Ave & University St. From there, walk south on 5th Ave for about 5 minutes until you reach the Columbia Center located at 701 5th Ave, Seattle, WA 98104.

Light Rail
Head to the nearest bus stop and take Metro Bus Route 238 or 542 to reach the Bellevue Transit Center. From there, board the Sound Transit Link Light Rail towards Seattle. Get off at the Pioneer Square Station. Once you exit the station, walk north on 1st Ave for about 10 minutes, then turn left onto Cherry St. Continue walking until you reach 5th Ave, then turn right. Walk a short distance, and you will find the Columbia Center at 701 5th Ave, Seattle, WA 98104.

If you are in Kirkland and prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route via the Kirkland waterfront trail to Lake Washington. From there, walk along the trail to reach a bus stop. Take Metro Bus Route 238 or 542 to Bellevue Transit Center and follow the previous instructions for bus or light rail to Seattle. However, please note that this will take a considerable amount of time, so it is recommended to use public transport.
