Public Transit
From downtown Kirkland, you can take the Metro bus route 255 towards Seattle. Board the bus at the Kirkland Transit Center. After about 30 minutes of travel, you will arrive at the 'Northgate Station.' Here, transfer to the Link Light Rail. Take the light rail towards 'University of Washington' and get off at 'Westlake Station.' From Westlake Station, exit and walk to the bus stop on 3rd Avenue and Pine Street to catch the Metro bus route 19 towards 'Ballard.' After approximately 20 minutes, disembark at the '18th Ave W & W Emerson St' stop, which is a short walk from Fishermen's Terminal. Head west on W Emerson St, then turn left onto 18th Ave W, and you will find Fishermen's Terminal at 3919 18th Ave W.

If you are near the Kirkland waterfront, you can take a scenic walk. Begin at Marina Park and head north along the waterfront path. Follow the path all the way around the lake towards the east side until you reach the intersection with 85th St. Turn left onto 85th St and continue walking until you reach 15th Ave W. From there, turn right and walk north until you reach W Emerson St. Turn left and continue walking until you reach 18th Ave W, where you will turn right. Fishermen's Terminal will be on your left at 3919 18th Ave W. This walk is approximately 5 miles and offers beautiful views of Lake Washington.
