If you are starting from downtown Kirkland, head east on Kirkland Avenue towards Lake Street. Continue walking until you reach 5th Avenue. Turn left on 5th Avenue and walk until you reach the intersection with Central Way. Cross Central Way and continue straight on 5th Avenue. Follow the road as it curves to the right and becomes 7th Avenue. Continue on 7th Avenue until you reach the intersection with Forbes Creek Drive. Turn left onto Forbes Creek Drive and walk until you see the entrance to the Forbes Creek Stairs on your left.

Public Transport
From the Kirkland Transit Center, board Bus 239 heading toward Bellevue. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the 6th Street & 7th Avenue stop. From there, walk north on 7th Avenue until you reach Forbes Creek Drive. Turn left onto Forbes Creek Drive, and you will find the Forbes Creek Stairs entrance on your left.

If you are renting a bike, start from downtown Kirkland and head south on Lake Street. Continue along the waterfront until you reach the intersection with 7th Avenue. Turn left and follow 7th Avenue uphill. Once you reach Forbes Creek Drive, turn right and look for the entrance to the Forbes Creek Stairs on your left. Enjoy the scenic ride along the way!
