Bus
From downtown Kirkland, walk to the nearest bus stop on Central Way. Board the Metro Bus Route 255 towards Seattle. The bus will take you directly to Seattle, stopping at various points including the University of Washington. Once you arrive at the downtown Seattle bus terminal, transfer to the Metro Bus Route 99 towards Alaskan Way. Get off at the stop near Alaskan Way and walk towards Pier 69. The FRS Clipper is located at 2701 Alaskan Way Pier 69, just a short walk from the bus stop.
Water Taxi
Head to the Kirkland Waterfront Park and look for the water taxi service (if operating seasonally). The water taxi will take you across Lake Washington to downtown Seattle. Once you arrive, follow the signs to Pier 69, located at 2701 Alaskan Way. This will be a scenic route with beautiful views of the Seattle skyline.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous, you can walk from Kirkland to Seattle via the Kirkland Marina Park and along the waterfront. This is a longer option but offers a lovely view of the lake. Walk south along Lake Washington Boulevard, then take the Burke-Gilman Trail which leads you towards the Ballard Locks. From there, you can make your way towards downtown Seattle, eventually reaching Alaskan Way where Pier 69 is located.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Kirkland. Head towards the Burke-Gilman Trail and ride west towards Seattle. The ride is approximately 12 miles and offers beautiful views of the waterfront. Once you reach the Seattle waterfront, follow the signs to Pier 69, located at 2701 Alaskan Way.
