Once you arrive at the University District stop, transfer to Bus Route 70 or 71, which will take you to the South Lake Union area. Get off at the stop closest to Lake Union. From there, follow the signs to the waterfront, and you will find yourself at Lake Union.

If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Kirkland. Start your journey by heading southwest on the Kirkland waterfront trail. This scenic route will lead you through Marina Park and along the shores of Lake Washington. Continue until you reach the Houghton area, where you can connect to the 520 Bridge bike path. Cross the bridge, and once you arrive in Seattle, follow the bike lanes towards South Lake Union. Look for signs directing you to Lake Union, and enjoy the view as you ride along the waterfront.

For those who enjoy walking, start at Kirkland’s downtown area and head towards the waterfront. Walk along Kirkland Avenue until you reach Marina Park. From the park, follow the waterfront path south, which will lead you along Lake Washington. Continue walking until you reach the Houghton area. From there, you can catch a bus or continue walking toward the 520 Bridge. Once you cross the bridge, navigate towards South Lake Union by following the waterfront path until you arrive at Lake Union.
