Getting There
Public Bus
From Kirkland, head to the nearest bus stop on Kirkland Avenue, which is served by King County Metro buses. Take bus route 255 towards Seattle. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 3rd Ave & Pine St. From there, transfer to bus route 8 towards Capitol Hill. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the stop at Mercer St & 3rd Ave. Walk west on Mercer St for 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Pacific Northwest Ballet at 301 Mercer St.
Light Rail
Walk to the nearest bus stop and take bus route 255 to the University of Washington Light Rail Station. Board the Link Light Rail towards Northgate and ride for about 20 minutes. Get off at Westlake Station. From Westlake, transfer to bus route 8 towards Capitol Hill. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at Mercer St & 3rd Ave. Walk west on Mercer St for 5 minutes to reach the Pacific Northwest Ballet at 301 Mercer St.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Kirkland. Head towards the Kirkland waterfront and take the Burke-Gilman Trail. Follow the trail which will lead you towards Seattle. Continue on the trail until you reach the Ballard Locks, then follow the signs towards downtown Seattle. Once you reach downtown, navigate to 3rd Ave and then head east on Mercer St for about 10 minutes until you reach the Pacific Northwest Ballet at 301 Mercer St.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from downtown Kirkland and head towards the waterfront. Take the scenic route along Lake Washington and follow the waterfront path until you reach the Kirkland Ferry Terminal. Board a ferry to Seattle which takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Seattle Waterfront, walk northeast towards Pike Place Market. From there, continue on Pike St until you reach 3rd Ave. Walk north on 3rd Ave, then turn left onto Mercer St and walk for about 5 minutes to reach the Pacific Northwest Ballet at 301 Mercer St.
