Public Bus
From Kirkland, you can take King County Metro Bus Route 238 from the Kirkland Transit Center. Board the bus heading towards North Bend. Stay on the bus for approximately 35 minutes, and get off at the 'North Bend Park and Ride' stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach Twin Falls Natural Area. Head south on Bendigo Blvd N, then turn left onto SE 159th St, which will take you directly to the park entrance.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike at one of the local bike rental shops in Kirkland. Start at the Kirkland Waterfront Park and follow the bike path along Lake Washington Boulevard, heading south. This scenic route is about 12 miles long. Once you reach the intersection of SE 159th St, turn left and continue until you arrive at Twin Falls Natural Area. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local bike regulations.
Walking
For the adventurous, you can walk to Twin Falls Natural Area from Kirkland. Start at the Kirkland Waterfront Park and head south along Lake Washington Boulevard. After about 6 miles, you will reach the intersection of SE 159th St where you can turn left. Continue for another mile, and you will find the entrance to Twin Falls Natural Area. Note that this is a long trek, so wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water.
