If you are starting from downtown Kirkland, walk north on Central Way towards Lake Street. Continue on Lake Street until you reach 6th Street. Turn left onto 6th Street and follow it as it curves into Market Street. Continue straight on Market Street, which will become 100th Avenue NE. After about 1 mile, turn left onto NE 50th Street. Walk for a short block until you reach the intersection with West Lake Sammamish Parkway NE. Turn left again, and Idylwood Park will be on your right after about 0.5 miles. The park entrance is at 3650 West Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE.
