    If you are starting from downtown Kirkland, walk north on Central Way towards Lake Street. Continue on Lake Street until you reach 6th Street. Turn left onto 6th Street and follow it as it curves into Market Street. Continue straight on Market Street, which will become 100th Avenue NE. After about 1 mile, turn left onto NE 50th Street. Walk for a short block until you reach the intersection with West Lake Sammamish Parkway NE. Turn left again, and Idylwood Park will be on your right after about 0.5 miles. The park entrance is at 3650 West Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE.

    From downtown Kirkland, walk to the nearest bus stop at Central Way & Lake Street. Take Metro Bus Route 238 towards Redmond. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop at NE 51st Street & West Lake Sammamish Parkway NE. From there, it's a short walk (about 0.2 miles) south along West Lake Sammamish Parkway NE until you reach Idylwood Park, located at 3650 West Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE.
