Getting There

  • Bus

    From the Lynnwood Transit Center, take the Community Transit Route 1 bus towards the Edmonds Ferry. Ride the bus for approximately 45 minutes. Get off at the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal. Once you arrive at the terminal, walk to the ferry terminal building and catch the next ferry to Seattle. The ferry ride takes about 35 minutes. Upon arriving in Seattle, exit the ferry and walk to the bus stop located at 1st Avenue and Columbia Street. Take the Kitsap Transit Route 90 bus towards Bainbridge Island. After about 40 minutes, get off at the stop closest to 7571 NE Dolphin Dr. From there, it's a short walk to Bloedel Reserve.

  • Train + Bus

    Start at the Lynnwood Transit Center and take the Sound Transit Link Light Rail towards Seattle. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at Westlake Station. From Westlake Station, transfer to the Kitsap Transit Route 90 bus towards Bainbridge Island. The bus will take you to the Bainbridge Island area. Get off at the stop nearest to 7571 NE Dolphin Dr. You will then need to walk a short distance to Bloedel Reserve.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Lynnwood. Start your ride heading west on 196th St SW towards 44th Ave W. Continue onto WA-99 N and follow the signs towards the Edmonds Ferry Terminal. This route will take about 1.5 hours, depending on your speed. Once at the ferry terminal, take the ferry to Bainbridge Island. After disembarking, ride to 7571 NE Dolphin Dr, which is about a 15-minute ride from the ferry terminal to Bloedel Reserve.

  • Walking + Ferry

    If you're up for an adventure, you can walk to the nearest bus stop and take the bus to the Edmonds Ferry Terminal (check the local bus schedule for routes). Once you reach the ferry terminal, take the ferry to Bainbridge Island. After arriving on Bainbridge, you can either walk or take a local bus to get closer to Bloedel Reserve. The walk from the ferry terminal to Bloedel Reserve is approximately 2 miles and should take about 40 minutes.
